Achievements including redevelopment of the Mansfield Rec Reserve & GVL incorporation of Football with Netball.

Kristin Favalaro is a highly experienced communications and media leader with a strong track record across journalism, government, industry advocacy, and strategic engagement. Her career spans more than 15 years in senior roles shaping public messaging, organisational reputation, and stakeholder relationships.
She currently serves as:
Director of Communications, Australian Dairy Products Federation – 2 years
Leading national communications strategy, industry advocacy messaging, and media positioning for one of Australia’s key agricultural sectors.

David Roff

Now retired, David Roff has been a local government officer for over 40 years, most recently with Strathbogie Shire as acting CFO.A former CEO of Mansfield Shire, he has previously been Chairman of the Goulburn Valley League and maintains volunteer governance roles with Mansfield District Racing Club, Mansfield Adult Continuing Education and Mansfield District Hospital.

Bruce Rowley
Commissioner
Bruce is employed by the Strathbogie Shire Council as the Manager Project Delivery.
Prior Bruce was employed for 20 years within the Country Fire Authority (CFA).
Previously President of Tallygaroopna Football Netball Club and Avenel Football Netball Club and he has coached both junior and senior football.
Geraldine Christou
Commissioner
Geraldine Christou is an accomplished executive leader with more than two decades of experience in local government, regional development, governance, and economic strategy. Her career spans 20 years with the Greater Shepparton City Council, where she has held multiple senior roles shaping organisational direction, regional growth, and community outcomes.
She has served as:

* Manager Investment and Attraction – 13 years
* Manager Economic Development – 2 years
* Team Leader Governance – 3 years
* Governance Coordinator – 1 year

Andrew Chittick
Commissioner
He is the operator of Broken River Grading earthmoving and excavation services and joined the Commission in 2024. He has previously held the position of Kyabram District League President.
Peter Kelton
Commissioner
Appointed in November 2023, Peter brings extensive experience in community groups and sporting organisations across Mooroopna and Shepparton.
Peter brings a wealth of knowledge in law, strategy, and governance.
Peter is currently a Senior Associate at Dawes and Vary Riordan in Shepparton, practicing in the Property, Commercial, and Migration law areas with many years of experience.
He has sat on the Rotary Club of Mooroopna board and is currently secretary of the Shepparton Arts Festival.
