Strategic Plan
In 2022, after consultation with the region's affiliated leagues and advisory boards, the Goulburn Murray Commission updated its Strategic Plan.
Following the challenges of COVID, the new strategic plan focused on supporting the regional stakeholders to bounce back from the drop-off participation due to the interruption of COVID.
The Strategic Pillars are underpinned by a regional action plan which is reviewed annually to ensure our focus is not static.
This approach saw the region bounce back strongly, with 4% growth in Community Football and 3% growth in Auskick during 2023 from 2019 participation numbers.
