Senior Competitions Kick Off & Junior Season not far away!

This weekend marks the highly anticipated start of the GVL, MFL, KDL, and GMW&G seasons. A tremendous effort has been made by club and league administrators to ensure a strong and successful launch.

Meanwhile, the Goulburn Murray Junior season is just around the corner, set to commence later this month.

Senior Clubs are reminded to submit their player declarations and 2025 Player Payment Budgets in accordance with league regulations.

Participation Team Out and About!

The region continues to strengthen numbers across our Community and School Auskick and Superkick programs. AFLGM had the highest number of participants for the Term 1 Auskick programs with over 212 participants engaged with School Holiday programs being activated. 8 in-school programs have concluded for Term 1.

Terrific results down South with the re-establishment of the Puckapunyal Auskick Centre has seen 30 new participants based out of the Army Barracks.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting for AFL Goulburn Murray will be held on Tuesday 13 May at Kialla Recreation Reserve commencing at 5:30pm.

An election of new Commissioners will be held, with nominations to be submitted on this form https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q7GJVZW with nominations closing on Tuesday 21st April, 2025.

Outgoing Commissioner Chris Thomas has informed the Commission Chair that he will end his term with the Commission after 12 years on the Commission and 25 years’ service in the Goulburn Murray Region, we thank Chris for his invaluable contribution to football in the region.
